About me
I am a qualified Interpersonal Psychotherapist and Counsellor working in a conveniently located City Centre Surgery. I offer professional, confidential, non judgemental counselling in a private friendly setting.

I gained my experience working in GP and voluntary settings and have worked in the Darlington, Durham, Morpeth, Hexham, Gateshead and Newcastle areas offering both long and short term counselling and psychotherapy, dependent on client needs.

I currently work within the NHS, Gateshead area, supporting clients through moderate/severe depression, anxiety and all relationship issues.

I am UKCP accredited and work within their ethical framework. I strive to maintain the highest standards of ethical practice at all times.

Working integratively allows me to use creative methods within the counselling such as dream work, creative visualisation and meditation/relaxation exercises to reduce anxieties and build self esteem. As we are all individuals with individual needs and desires, any method of treatment will be discussed and agreed upon prior to implementing. This will allow you to take an active role during your counselling sessions to achieve your desired result.
