Peter Toolan is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist. He trained at the Scottish Institute of Human Relations, Edinburgh and the Tavistock & Portman Clinic, London. He has 30 years experience of working with children, adolescents and parents, in NHS Child & Family Services, in the voluntary sector and in independent practice. He is a well known teacher and clinical supervisor for CAMHS and Children's Services professionals. His published writing and research, on learning disabilities; looked after children, and on infants' and children's emotional development has been well received.
